Don't know about Ogm files? Don't worry... here is a page that will help you. Ogms are easy to play, and the quality is much higher than regular Divx or Xvid. The reason for this is that a regular Divx rip uses Mp3 to encode the sound. The average Mp3 file for a movie is between 200 - 300 MB, so if you are making a 700 MB rip, you can see how much room is left for the video! Ogg is a much more sophisticated compression, and you can get the same quality of sound as the Mp3 file, but it only takes up 50 - 70 MB, which leaves a lot more room for video, hence, a much higher quality rip. Also, it allows the use of multiple audio streams, which means if I rip a movie in Cantonese, I can also include the Mandarin and English dubs, for those foolish enough to want them.
So it is worth the little time and effort you spend learning to play these things.
Here is the webpage, and I recommend BS Player to play these files, as that is what I use myself, but if you do it right, you can use most players.
