We are currently looking for a Deskside engineer to strengthen the Managed Services Team.
Responsibilities
You will be the primary point of contact to the customer base for supporting existing solutions.
You will take first level calls for both Infrastructure and Applications for customers around the world (making strong English and French mandatory)… Knowing that the majority of calls are Infrastructure, we are focusing on skills, but also need to look for applications aptitude and interest.
You will develop the Customer Service model: how optimize the customer service and increase overall service levels.
You will triage calls, address the ones that can be addressed in a short period of time and then escalate appropriately.
When time permits, you will work longer and go technically deeper to resolve the problem to help protect more senior staff from project work interruption.
You will have past experience and desired career path focus on customer care, service communication and training.
Profile
Technical Skills:
In general good knowledge of Desktop and Laptop Hardware
Microsoft Operating System and Office
Basic Networking/Server administration
Good customer service traits
Other Skills:
Communicative and customer/service oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
Analytical, process oriented (ITIL)
Ability to work with all levels of personnel
Ability to work with minimal supervision on daily tasks and project work is definitely a plus.
Ability to work for work in different environments for different customers
Flexibility in time and location
Very good communication skills, both verbal and written in Dutch, French AND English
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
Minimum 1 year of IT technology experience in networking, telecommunications, or technical support
