Lettre motivation Erasmus

I'm the f*cking game.

Dear Madam,

With this letter, I would like to express my interest in studying at the INSEEC Business School of Bordeaux as an Erasmus student.

Having looked through the folder of the international department, I was delighted to find the opportunity to spend one semester learning marketing at a foreign high school. I have decided to apply for this program because I am sure it would strongly enrich my future studies and help me in my prospective career. Furthermore, I am very curious about different marketing approaches.

Moreover, I would love to be among international students, it would be a great chance to broaden my horizon and get in touch with people I would probably never have the chance to meet. Getting to know different cultures and habits as well as different opinions and tastes, corresponds strongly to my nature.

However my application has a weakness: my results. I have never got great grades in my theoretical exams. I have always been better for the practicals. Indeed, if you take a look at the results of my integrated exercise you will find out that we had the best results we were ranked as the best amongst the sophomores in marketing. The business school in Bordeaux combines knowledge acquisition with a genuine professionalization which is just what I’m looking for.

During my first two years at the IESN I have found out that I would like to specialize in management. The INSEEC business school focuses on this subject. Being able to spend a semester there would be a great opportunity for me to improve in this field. This would give me a chance to deepen my marketing knowledge and improve my English.

I am fairly tired of living in Namur. I have been studying in this city for more than ten years. I would really enjoy this experience in a new city. The population of Bordeaux exceeds 200,000 residents and the school gathers more than 20 nationalities, it would be a pleasant disorientation!

My second choice if I cannot get into the INSEEC Business School is katholieke hogeschool in Leuven. It is also a large school with many exchange students that could bring me disorientation. Moreover, in Leuven, I could improve my Dutch with native speakers.

Finally, I am confident that my experience in Bordeaux will prove invaluable for both my studies and overall personal development.

Thank you for considering my request. I’m looking forward to getting your answer.

Yours faithfully,
A B C D

Mes qq corrections :

"different approaches to the marketing" : j'aurais plutot dit "different marketing approaches "
"Spend a semester there" --> "To spend a semester there"

Voici quelques corrections :

Dear Madam,

With this letter, I would like to express my interest in studying at the INSEEC Business School of Bordeaux as an Erasmus student.

Having looked through the folder of the international department, I was (suppression very) delighted to find the opportunity to spend one semester learning marketing at a foreign high school. I have decided to apply for this program because I am sure it would strongly enrich my future studies and help me in my prospective career. Furthermore, I am very curious about different marketing approaches.

Moreover, I would love to be among international students, it would be a great chance to broaden my horizon and get in touch with people I would normally never have the chance to meet. Getting to know different cultures and habits as well as different opinions and tastes, corresponds strongly to my nature. That is why I see my strengths in the field of communication and conversation.

However my file has a weakness: my results. I have never got great grades in my theoretical exams (examens théoriques). I have always been better for the practicals. Indeed, if you take a look at the results of my integrated exercise (exercice intégré en français, ça regroupe plusieurs cours) you will find out that we had the best results of the wholesecond year marketing. The business school in Bordeaux combines knowledge acquisition with a genuine professionalization (professionalisation, j'ai du mal à tourner cette phrase...) which is just what I’m looking for.

During my first two years at the IESN I have found out that I would like to specialize in management. The INSEEC business school focuses on this subject matter. To spend a semester there, would be a great chance for me to improve in this field.

Furthermore, I am kind of tired of living in Namur. I have been studying in this city for more than ten years. I would really enjoy this experience ina new city. The population of Bordeaux exceeds 200,000 residents and the school gathers more than 20 nationalities, it would be a pleasant disorientation!

My second choice if I cannot get into the INSEEC Business School is katholieke hogeschool in Leuven. It is also a wide school (que veux-tu dire?) with many exchange students that could bring me disorientation. Furthermore, in Leuven, I could improve my Dutch with native speakers.
I would very much like to spend one semester at the INSEEC Business School. This would give me a chance to deepen my marketing knowledge and improve my English.

Finally, I am confident that my experience in Bordeaux would be extremely fun and valuable for both my studies and overall general development.

Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully,

Je mettrai aussi :

the whole of the second year in marketing.

Charkzul

Kazem
furthermore, tu peux dire moreover aussi ..

with people I would probably (normally ca fait bof..) never have the chance to meet

However my (file) application has a weakness

Furthermore (celui la tu le vires, il est inutile ), I am tired of living in Namur and it would be great if I could spend some time living abroad

Thank you for considering my request. I'm looking forward to hearing from you a positive answer.

Thank you for considering my request. I'm looking forward to hearing from you a positive answer.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you
Y a aussi I look forward to hearing from you qui lui est plus formel.

Formal:
I look forward to receiving your reply. -- Yes

Informal:
(X) I'm looking forward to getting your answer. -- No; this is just an awkward register mix.

What about:
I'm looking forward to hearing from you. -- Less formal; a better choice than your example above.

Le "the whole second year" je mettrais plutot "we were ranked as the best sophomores in marketing" ou "we were ranked as the best amongst the sophomores in our school's marketing branch [cf Branch (academia), an academic sub-discipline]" ou encore "we were ranked amongst the sophomores as the best in the marketing branch" ou un autre mix mais avec ces mots-là quoi

Tu pourrais essayer de glisser à la fin de ta lettre un petit "Even though I have other internship possibilities, I would rather be an active part of your College (ou University ou je sais pas où tu vas), blablabla"
